Fire clay necklace | hand printed and glazed ceramic mustard yellow bead |
From start to finish this piece was made by the owner/maker, Nicole. Her illuminating & cheerful essence resembles this necklace. Each piece is made from grey stoneware ceramic clay. Then it is hand glazed and fired in a ceramic kiln at high temperatures that makes the clay very strong and vitreous. The bead is covered with the shiny glaze that gives it a beautiful reflection in the light.
